I'm Aysha Brislane, a 24-year-old Irish designer who believes fashion should mean something. Bash Fashion started as a way to prevent clothes from ending up in landfill. I wanted to show that pre-loved items deserve a second chance, and that something beautiful could come from something discarded. It began with lino printing my own hand-carved designs onto second-hand garments, transforming them into one of a kind pieces through a process that's as hands on as it gets.
That idea grew into something bigger. I now run creative workshops for schools, summer camps, and community groups, showing people of all ages and abilities that upcycling is something anyone can do. The most recent addition to Bash Fashion is a collection of postcard-style prints that are hand-pressed, proudly imperfect, and available to shop directly on this page.
In just one year, Bash Fashion has placed in the UCD Sustainable Fashion Show, won the 2026 Circular Comms Grant from the Rediscovery Centre Ireland, and taken on custom carvings for everything from boat owners to one-of-a-kind gifts.
